Hidden tunnel
They have an underground tunnel that goes directly to the penitentiary. They don’t advertise it but my understanding is that it goes from a hidden closet in the den. Neal B

A very interesting tour of the mansion. A very beautiful property and well maintained. The interior was gorgeous and decorated tastefully. Not something for a couple of teens.
This was first time touring the Governors Mansion and we were impressed with the building, grounds, renovations, and furniture and artwork on display. Politics aside, Diana Rauner did a wonderful job ...
Really enjoyed the experience of being in the Governors Mansion. My favorite room was the Dining Room with the very long table and the beautiful chandelier.
