    I've been lurking around in the Escalante Canyons for over 30 years, and can never get enough of this country, which is why I moved to Teasdale, 70 mile north near Capitol Reef NP, when I retired.

    The hike to the cathedral and back is a bit strenuous through the sand and unmarked trail. The stacked rock karns are all over the place. The keeper hole requires skill, 3 or more people to boost othe...
