Maybe a Beach?
This was a must see on our way to Krysuvik and it’s just off the road. The “sand” is a beautiful rich black color and the water is also a super dark blue.

Superb drive down from Reykjavík. Do it if you have couple of hours to spare

Small but lovely lake in Iceland. Looks different from most other lakes in the country. Not far from the road and it pays to stop there
