HIGH CLASS MUSIC AND THE SYMPHONY ORCRESTRA FROM AROUND THE WORLD
It is hard to imagine that this building is actually a theater and concert hall, because it is a classical design with a tall tower in the center and two very standard three-section east and west wings, making people think it is a museum, but the interior is modern.
The Victoria Theatre and Concert Hall are located at Raffles Quay, also on the Singapore River. This is a very beautiful place, with two buildings of the same style that are very magnificent, and there are performances here all year round.
Suitable for a great place, in fact, not within the scope of the trip, but with a team went in. When we went there, nobody was in summer. The air conditioner was very comfortable with white. After reading for a long time, the book was mainly decorated with white and the transparent top of the middle hall was also superb. In fact, through the floor glass wall there, you can get a lot of city scenery. I really recommend you to have a look. I'm surprised to see it for free. If I'm lucky, there will be a special exhibition.
Although this area is the center of the city, it is full of green lawns and neat street trees. There are many modern art sculptures on the lawn. Through the sculptures, you can see the ancient Victorian Memorial in the distance. In the middle of the Victoria Memorial Hall and the Victoria Theatre, there is a bell tower about 50 meters high, with a crown-like dome on the roof. The bell tower links the memorial hall and the theatre into a seemingly integral building. Only by carefully looking at the inscriptions on the exterior of the building, can we find that the two bell towers are originally different buildings. Walking through the lawn into the Victorian Theatre, you can only see the open area of public places on the third floor without performing, but the appearance of this building is the first.
Love the clean and green area here, you can take lots of nice photos, and the Raffles statue. And you can run and play with your kids on the front lawn. I felt like a kid again in this place. It's an elegant and romantic place to watch a play or concert. This concert hall is not only beautiful on the outside, but also elegantly decorated inside. I was lucky enough to be invited by a friend to enjoy a choir concert here. The acoustics of the concert hall are good, and I enjoyed the whole concert very much!
The main building consists of two symmetrical theaters. The overall appearance is magnificent and the details are also decorated with ingenuity. They were not built at the same time. The first one built was the Victoria Theater named after the Queen of England.
Victoria Memorial Hall, the main building is composed of two symmetrical theatres, the middle is a bell tower more than 50 meters high, the appearance of white magnificent square. Now it is a concert hall in Singapore. In front of it is a large lawn green area where citizens and tourists can rest and take pictures.
