Fresh water is recycled by two advanced technologies, microfiltration and reverse osmosis. The whole production process is divided into three steps. First, the larger impurities such as granules and bacteria in the sewage are removed by microfiltration, then the sewage is extruded through reverse osmosis diaphragm by high pressure, and some smaller dissolved impurities are filtered out. Finally, after ultraviolet disinfection, recyclable fresh water is obtained. Experts have identified that the indicators of fresh water are better than the tap water currently used, and the cleanliness of fresh water is at least 50 times higher than the international drinking water standards stipulated by the World Health Organization.

Was a great experience as James brought us through the NEWater museum. He pitched his presentation to include our two young children, asking them questions and hyping up the experience. Highly informative and a good place for children to learn about water conservation!
