Keong Saik Road is a street that is very suitable for a leisurely stroll. There are many Chinese people here, and the shops along the street are also very unique. But there are not as many people as in Chinatown. It is a very nice place.
Keong Saik Road is a very romantic road. There are old buildings on both sides that are more than a hundred years old. They are very British style. There are all kinds of shops under the houses, mainly restaurants and cafes. It is very suitable for a leisurely stroll.
I arrived at Keong Saik Road early in the morning, and many restaurants and cafes were not open yet. Although I couldn't drink coffee or eat, I still made the best of it. It was also a good idea to stroll along Keong Saik Road and admire the beautiful buildings around.
Keong Saik Road is a mecca for local eats, French food, Italian cuisine and the coolest bars in town. It’s hard to imagine that the area was once a prominent red-light district peppered with brothels back in the 60s.
Keong Saik Road is lined with buildings left over from the British colonial period, which are now home to various restaurants and cafes.
