Christmas Train Show @FlowerDome Gardens By The Bay
#magicalxmastrip
This festive season, Gardens by the Bay's Flower Dome presents a captivating array of holiday-themed exhibits:
🎄Gardens by the Bay Christmas Train Show
Inspired by a century-old American tradition, this exhibit features model trains navigating through plant-based replicas of iconic New York landmarks, including the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building. The display is a collaboration with the U.S. Embassy in Singapore and runs from December 2, 2024, to January 5, 2025.
Gardens by the Bay
🎄A Botanical Christmas with Carl Linnaeus
Explore a replica of the renowned botanist Carl Linnaeus' Swedish countryside estate, Hammarby. This exhibit offers insights into his work and showcases exotic plants inspired by his garden in Sweden. The display is available until January 5, 2025.

🎄The Singapore Rail Journey: A Tale of Connections
Step aboard a journey through time, tracing the tracks of Singapore's rail development. Each station along this timeline tells a story—a step forward in the evolution of a seamlessly connected city.
Picture the bustling platforms of the past, where commuters shared quick glances, hurried goodbyes, and the occasional smile with a stranger. Imagine the countless stories carried along these tracks: the dreams of a student rushing to class, the excitement of families headed for adventures, and the quiet reflections of those returning home after a long day.
🎄The Replica of Raffles Place MRT Station
What was once a reclaimed swamp along the Singapore River has blossomed into the vibrant financial center known as Raffles Place. At its core lies the Raffles Place MRT station, which began its journey on December 12, 1987.
The station’s design draws inspiration from the iconic architecture of John Little, Singapore’s oldest department store, with grand pillars and intricate mouldings that echo the past. Today, this bustling interchange infuses life into Raffles Place daily, seamlessly weaving heritage into the rhythm of modern city commuting.
🎄The Replica of Swedish Railbus Y7 1113
The Swedish Railbus Y7 1113 was introduced as a faster, more cost-effective solution to replace aging steam locomotives. Equipped with a robust Scania “straight 8” diesel engine and a turbocharger, this reliable railbus began its service with the Swedish State Railways in February 1959. Later, it transitioned to a new role at the railway school in Ängelholm, where it played a vital part in training drivers for Banverket, Sweden’s national rail authority.
These exhibits provide a unique blend of horticulture and holiday cheer, making the Flower Dome a must-visit destination this Christmas
season.

The tickets bought through Trip.com are slightly cheaper than the official website. The attraction itself is stunning and offers an amazing look at a curated garden in the Flower Dome and a glimpse into the natural world of Singapore at the Cloud Forest. It is well worth the visit and the entry ticket.
Worth the visit, the dinausour look very realistic. Place could be very crowded during the weekend. We have a stroller with us. The place easy to navigate there are lifts. A lot of things to see.
This is a place that will amaze you and make you linger. Many moments made me smile and like it. Even though there were many people there that day, it did not affect my appreciation of their beauty and my joy.
If you are accompanying your parents, it is worth going. The elderly will be happier and like to enjoy the flowers. [Scenery] Good [Fun] Good [Value for money] Good
I like the Flower Dome the most during my trip to Singapore. It is very cost-effective. There are all kinds of plants on display.
I'm tired of saying "beautiful"! If you haven't been there, it's worth a visit!
The Flower Dome is a medium-sized botanical garden with a greenhouse. The Flower Dome is just in time for the limited Monet garden and exhibition, which is worth seeing. The life of a legendary genius 👍🏻 I couldn't help but stop and sigh when I saw the water lilies!
They are all plants. If you are not interested in this, you can check out the last Monet exhibition, which has animation effects and is pretty good.
