A great waiting park before picking up your loves one at Changi Airport. Patking is cheap and you can view the planes landing for the run away. A hidden gem.
Beautiful serene beach park at the east side of Singapore, worth coming by if you're around the area, there's a hawker centre and bus stop nearby.
The most distinctive features of Changi Beach are the beach bars, a volleyball beach, and the Luoyang Pier at the end. I often come here for jogging and it feels great.
Play in the sand, daydream, and watch airplanes✈️Come to the free Changi Beach Park Speaking of Singapore, in addition to Universal Studios, Gardens by the Bay, Sentosa..., there are many unpopular and good check-in places, such as this Changi Beach Park. If you have enough time, you can consider it. English name: Changi Beach Park Detailed address: Nicoll Dr, Changi Beach Park, Singapore 498991 Transportation strategy: The location is relatively remote and the subway is not accessible. If conditions permit, it is recommended to drive by yourself and navigate to the destination directly on Google Maps. You can also choose bus No. 2, No. 29, No. 59 or No. 109 to arrive. ⏰Business hours: All day Tickets: Free❗ Recommendation index: Features 1⃣Close to the busy Changi International Airport, which is ranked in the top 3 in global popularity. Sitting on the beach, an average of one plane ✈️ will roar over your head every two or three minutes. It is definitely close, and even the logo of the plane can be seen clearly❗ 2⃣Changi Beach Park is a good place to watch the sunrise on the east coast. Locals like to spend the weekend here, and even camp overnight to watch the sunrise. The park is about 3.3 kilometers long and linear. The beach is fine and soft, the sea water is relatively clean, and the facilities are complete. Practical tips 1⃣️Do a good job of sun protection and mosquito prevention. The first two tips in all my Singapore notes are always these because I was too lazy to apply sunscreen or wear a sun hat and got tanned like half an African. Then I forgot to apply mosquito repellent and my legs were like red bean popsicles (crying) 2⃣️There are bicycles and boats for rent on the beach, and there are also beach benches for tourists to rest. The beach entertainment is very rich. Nearby attractions include the World War II Memorial Plaque, Changi Village and Changi Point Boardwalk. 3⃣️There are many local snacks for sale in Changi Village. They are all places where locals go to eat. The price is cheap and the taste is good. You can order whatever you want. Unless you are particularly picky, you will basically not make a mistake. Fried bananas are highly recommended
Strictly speaking, the early Changi Beach should be called Changi Waterfront Park today after the efforts of the relevant authorities. This beach, about 3 to 4 kilometers long, is located in the northeast corner of Singapore. It is one of the more "old" beaches in Singapore. The "other side" of the sea is Singapore's two outer islands, Pulau Tekong and Pulau Ubin. Therefore, here we basically don't see groups of cargo ships waiting to be unloaded like in East Coast Park. In the early days, when Pulau Ubin was still inhabited, the islanders came to Singapore by taking a small ferry to the small pier here. Today, Pulau Ubin has basically become a place for people to go hiking and leisure, so the ferries are still serving "guests". In addition to barbecue equipment for tourists (application required), Changi Waterfront Park also has bicycles for rent, and you can see small ferries going to and from Pulau Ubin. At the same time, most of the planes landing at Changi International Airport will fly over here, so Changi Waterfront Park is not only an ideal place to watch ships and the sea, planes and even sunrise and sunset, but also a good place to take children out. Since there is no subway line to this place, the most convenient and cheapest way to get here is to take bus 2 (from Kampung Baru Bus Terminal, via New Bridge Road, Chinatown), 29 (from Tampines Bus Interchange), 59 (Bishan Bus Interchange) or 109 (Serangoon Bus Interchange) (take it directly to the terminal and walk 5 minutes to Changi Waterfront Park). Next to the bus terminal is Changi Village Hawker Center, where there are many local delicacies in Singapore, including the famous nasi lemak. The two stalls we tasted individually had the most queues, and one of them is said to be the Internet celebrity nasi lemak here. However, due to limited space, we will share our impressions of these two nasi lemaks with tourists in two days. PS: No matter where you go to the beach to play in the sand and water, it is recommended that tourists must take measures such as sun protection and mosquito prevention. In addition to applying sunscreen on yourself, spraying some lemongrass or citronella on your clothes, especially on your trouser legs, can more or less effectively reduce or prevent bites by mosquitoes on the beach, especially a very small sea mosquito. Once bitten by this kind of mosquito, the bitten area will be extremely itchy.
We took a nice walk along the last remaining natural beach on the easternmost side of Singapore. The Changi Coastal Walk is a nice walkway that flanks the coast with a nice sea view on the right, passing the Changi Golf Club, Changi Sailing Club and Changi Beach Club on the left, through an undulating stretch of beach and village green. I was told that the boardwalk is a popular fishing spot in Garoppa. I saw someone catch 2 small puffer fish. After a 90 minute walk it was time for breakfast and Hawke's Centre had plenty of options. My favourite place to go was Chock Full of Beans for great coffee (amazing 3D coffee art), healthy hearty breakfasts and desserts. They have their own bakery with fresh bread and delicious cakes every day. We had a few of the most pleasant walks along Changi Beach, there is a path for cyclists, benches under the shade of trees to rest, a fountain, toilets and shower facilities. There were lots of locals on the beach too. I wish I had spent more time here.
A beach very close to the airport. You can go there without a ticket. There are not too many tourists. The environment is well protected. There are coconut trees and shadows. You can also see many planes flying over your head. There are many beach entertainment projects, such as mountain bikes and yachts for rent. There are also many hotels and restaurants around. The sea is Malaysia. If you want to eat seafood, this can meet your requirements. It is also good to take children to pick up shells.
Because Changi Airport is very close in this beach, we can see the aircraft just taking off and landing soon. There are many people on the beach. It seems that there will be people camping here, so there will be litter scattered on the beach. I always feel that in such a clean Singapore, it should not appear.
