✨ Singapore Travel Review: 4 Days 3 Nights, Heart Full, Camera Almost Broke Every Day! 🇸🇬💗
Hello~ If you're looking for a nearby international destination without needing a visa,
I highly recommend “Singapore”!
A small, charming country that makes you want to move there for real.
This trip was 4 days 3 nights with close friends,
focusing on a relaxed trip with lots of walking, lots of photos, delicious food,
and filled with cuteness every day 🧃📸
⸻
🛫 Day 1: Hello Merlion~ There’s even a waterfall inside the mall, my heart aches because my camera almost broke! 📷
Landing at Changi Airport feels like stepping into a city of the future.
The atmosphere here is amazing, refreshing from the first step, with gardens inside the airport,
a waterfall, a moist vibe, and a subtle “high-class scent” 🍃💦
The first place we headed straight to was Jewel Changi Airport, a mall connected to the airport,
and the highlight is the Rain Vortex, the tallest indoor waterfall in the world!!! It’s truly beautiful.
Standing there taking photos feels like being in a Korean MV.
(I recommend shooting from the upper floors for the best view) 🌈📷
Then we bought an EZ-Link card to use on all MRT lines and took the train into the city to Bugis.
Our accommodation was around here, staying at a pastel-colored hostel that’s super cute and photogenic 🛏️✨
In the evening, we went for a walk at Merlion Park. Of course, when in Singapore, you have to meet the water-spouting lion “Merlion” 🦁
The popular spot must-visit! Taking photos with the Marina Bay Sands skyline is fabulous~
We ended the first day by watching the water + light + sound show at Spectra Light Show in front of Marina Bay Sands mall.
It’s free! And spectacular! Walking back with a heart full of joy 💕
⸻
🌿 Day 2: Walking in a fairy tale garden + hunting for cuteness in Chinatown 🏯🧁
This morning we woke up early to visit the amazing Gardens by the Bay.
Wowww from the entrance, the garden and giant trees make you feel like you’re in the world of Avatar 🌳✨
We went into the Flower Dome first, filled with flowers from around the world,
with a gentle fragrance, very pleasant to walk through, and every photo came out stunning 💐🌷
Next, we went to the Cloud Forest, where there’s a waterfall inside the dome, very refreshing.
Walking up to the top floors and looking down, wow, it really feels like being on a mountain.
There’s soft mist too, making you feel like a princess lost in a snowy forest ☁️💕
In the afternoon, we took the MRT to Chinatown. This area is perfect for chill lovers.
You can eat to your heart’s content, including Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice (in Maxwell Food Centre), so delicious you want seconds.
The iced tea is fragrant and sweet without being cloying, finished off with “Ice Kacang,” Singapore-style shaved ice 🍧
Don’t forget to pay respects at the Tooth Relic Temple. It’s very beautiful, peaceful, and gives a truly Chinese vibe.
In the evening, we strolled along Pagoda Street, which has lots of souvenirs, cute keychains, fridge magnets, all at nice prices 🛍️
⸻
🎡 Day 3: Let’s go to Universal Studios! No matter how strong the sun is, smiles melt away the heat~ 🎠☀️
If you’re a movie fan or love amusement parks, today is the day!
Early morning, we left our accommodation heading to Sentosa Island to enter the fun world: Universal Studios Singapore 💥
I must say, as soon as you enter, your heart races. Every zone is decorated in detail,
like stepping into a real movie, especially the Far Far Away zone with the princess castle, which is wow 👑
Recommended rides:
•Transformers 3D: So realistic, like being saved by Optimus Prime!
•Revenge of the Mummy: A thrilling dark roller coaster that catches you off guard
•Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure: A wet and exciting rafting ride, fun and cute!
•Shrek 4D: Watch a movie with wind and water splashes, so much fun! 😆
Food in the park isn’t scary as you might think, with burgers, fries, or small rice boxes to fill you up.
Take photos with Minions, Madagascar characters, and lots of cute mascots 🧸📸
In the evening before leaving, we took a walk on Sentosa beach. The sunset view is lightly romantic.
If you come with your partner, hold hands and walk all lovey-dovey~ 🌅
⸻
🧳 Day 4: Shopping for souvenirs at Bugis + Saying goodbye to Merlion~ 🎁🍬
On the last day, we woke up feeling “Why does time pass so fast~” 😭
We checked out and went straight to Bugis Street, a popular souvenir area.
There’s everything from clothes, daily items to cute things at great prices!
What we bought:
•Merlion keychain
•Small cute box of TWG tea
•Coconut-flavored cookies + salted egg snacks
•Pastel-colored fabric bag
It was so satisfying, almost not enough space to bring everything back!
Then we headed back to Changi Airport to prepare for the flight back to Thailand.
Before boarding, we stopped to watch the Rain Vortex waterfall one more time, closing the trip with a very full heart.
In one word… “Singapore is a charming dream city” 💖
⸻
💕 Summary of the Singapore trip with a pounding heart
•Convenient travel, MRT covers the whole island 🚆
•Friendly people, super clean city 🧼
•Varied attractions, beautiful photo spots everywhere 📷

I invite you to pack your bags and meet the Merlion yourself at least once~
Then you’ll know this small country is truly filled with “happiness” in every corner of the heart 💗

In the center of the city with a lot of land and gold, there is a large natural space, covering a total area of more than 40 square meters. If you develop real estate and calculate the surrounding house prices, it is really worth a lot. The famous Xiangmi Lake rich area, you know it naturally. In turn, Xiangmi Park is also a hard indicator of the surrounding sky-high housing market the park near the most beautiful (one). The park connects sports and leisure, mountain orchard, ecological water system, and flower life through leisure trails, ecological water system and air plank road, and there are public buildings such as flower expo park, sports center, wedding hall, nature book bar. Trees, shrubs, ground quilts and other plant varieties, the wedding hall is connected to a large rose garden, flower lake, nectar lake, water quality is clear.
a very iconic temple in Chinatown, amazed by the interior of Buddha statues.
From the moment you step through the grand entrance, you're greeted by an explosion of sights and sounds.Everywhere you turn, your eyes are met with breathtaking beauty. Intricately carved statues of bodhisattvas line the halls. It's a place that leaves a lasting impression, reminding you of the importance of seeking inner peace amidst the chaos of everyday life. Whether you're a devout Buddhist or simply seeking a moment of respite, the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple is a must-visit for anyone in Singapore.
✅The Buddha Tooth Relic Temple in Singapore is also a place that Chinese compatriots strongly recommend. You can see all kinds of relics here, which is very informative! ▶️The main hall on the first floor is solemn and magnificent, with several large Buddhas and countless small Buddha statues. Then queue up outside to take the elevator directly to the fourth floor. ▶️The fourth floor is the most important Buddha Tooth Relic Golden Pagoda in the temple. No photos are allowed here. The Relic Golden Pagoda is made of 420 kilograms of pure gold, inlaid with many gems, and enshrined in it the Buddha Tooth Relic. There are also gold bricks around the pagoda. It is really magnificent! ▶️Walk up the stairs to the top of the building. There is a large garden on the top floor with a prayer wheel in the middle. We turned around it three times. ▶️Continue to walk up the stairs to the third floor. It is like a museum here, with world Buddha statues and 🔺Relics Exhibition‼ ️ 🔺Relics are the most valuable things in temples in China. I never thought I could see them. I can see them here and learn a lot! The relics of several parts of the human body are like gems, small and colorful. It feels magical. World Buddha statues: Because I often go to museums in China, I also like to see Buddha statues and grottoes. Here you can find that the facial carvings of Buddha statues in other countries are different from those in my country. The Buddha statues here are well preserved. ▶️The second floor is an exhibition hall, with many portraits of enlightened monks and an introduction to the history of Chinese in Chinatown. Figures 17 and 18 are Buddha statues made by Taiwanese sculptors, which are really lifelike. The lifelike posture is like a fairy descending to the earth. ⚠️You cannot enter the temple if you are not dressed properly. Aprons will be provided at the door to cover.
Walking into Longhua Court of Buddha's Tooth Temple near Niucheshui Tourist Service Center, we were immediately dazzled by the brilliance of gold and blue inside. The words such as colorful, brilliant lights and glittering gold all seemed pale here. The large and small statues of Buddha add infinite charm to the temple which is said to have Buddha's teeth and relics. In these Buddha statues, we see the guardian of the twelve zodiac signs. We don't know what principles they are based on, but this division seems to be the first time we have seen it. With curiosity, we carefully searched for our own and our family's guardian of the zodiac. The guardian of the year of the chicken is the immovable king, while the pig and the dog year are the common guardians of the king. It happened that a group of pupils, led by their teachers, came to the Longhua Temple of Buddha's Tooth Temple to visit. The children in this solemn and mysterious place can show their naive expression. In the temple hall, a chanting activity is being held. Under the leadership of monks and believers, they read words and speak them out. With the transmission of the microphone, the melodious chanting voice really has the taste of three days'continuous sound. In the process of chanting, the host also went to the main hall to offer incense to himself. Many worshippers donate money to receive small pots lit with incense candles. They kneel piously before putting pots on dedicated altars. This is a temple where people are thriving and fragrant. Walking out of the gate of Longhua Temple of Buddha's tooth temple, we can see that it adopts the architectural style and elements of ancient China, and at the same time combines the design style of Buddhist altar. So the whole monastery looks very tall.
Today, we visited the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple in Chinatown (Singapore's Chinatown). This temple combines the design of Buddhist mandala (altar) with the architectural style and elements of the Tang Dynasty, symbolizing the world's Buddhist culture. We originally wanted to check in and get some Buddhist spirit, but the moment we stepped into the temple, we knew that we were about to embark on a cultural journey: the culture of Buddha. The name of the temple comes from the canine tooth left by the Buddhist Buddha. People found this object in Kushinagar, India, where the Buddha was cremated, and have been worshipping it ever since. The Buddha's tooth relic is placed in a huge pagoda weighing 3,500 kilograms on the fourth floor of the temple. The pagoda is made of 320 kilograms of gold. Visitors can only worship and view the Buddha's tooth relic from the public viewing area, and only monks can enter the Buddha's tooth relic room. (The above information comes from the official website of the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple in Singapore) The Buddha Tooth Relic Temple has a total of five floors, each with different exhibition themes:- The first floor (ground floor): Although this floor is basically "similar" to ordinary Buddhist temples, the halls enshrine extremely exquisite Bodhisattvas, various tributes, and furnishings. In addition to making people feel sacred and solemn and inviolable, they also subconsciously want to learn more about Buddhist culture. The second floor: This floor mainly displays some information about the construction of the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple. The third floor: The museum displays Buddhist relics from different regions. The introduction is simple but detailed. In the Buddha Relic Hall and Manjusri Hall, we can see the mysterious relics up close, including brain relics, eye relics, heart relics, flesh relics, blood relics, etc. Fourth floor: In the Lingguang Hall and the Buddha Tooth Relic Pagoda on the fourth floor, the Buddha Tooth Temple also arranges a place for visitors to sit and relax in a particularly peaceful environment. A short period of closing your eyes and relaxing may allow you to feel the pure land of the Western Paradise. Fifth floor (top floor): Ten Thousand Buddhas Pavilion, Orchid Garden. When you arrive in Singapore, whether you believe in Buddhism or not, this place is really worth visiting. Buddha Tooth Temple opening hours: Free of charge from 7 am to 7 pm every day (07:00-19:00)
Singapore is a multi-faceted and integrated country, especially in the characteristic neighborhoods, such as Little India, Niucheshui, Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam and so on can be seen peacefully coexisting in the same street. Longhua Temple is located in Niucheshui, a gathering place for Chinese people. It was only founded in 2002, but it has a great reputation. The temple is a sacred relic of Buddhism, Buddha's tooth relic, and is placed in a 320 kg golden Shrine Tower funded by believers. The whole building has five floors, with elevators, which is worth slowly enjoying. There are Buddhist Culture Museum, Famous Sangha Memorial Hall, Sanzang Hall, and regular exhibition halls for performances, lectures and exhibitions. The Lingguang Hall on the fourth floor is not allowed to take photos. You can calm down and meditate inside for a moment. On the top of the fifth floor, there are giant channels and all kinds of Jugi flowers. It takes 2-3 hours to be in the hall. Even if you are not a Buddhist, you can feel the peace and beauty of the hall.
