What a DAM place to vist.
Went to this place a few years ago, with friends, we went water skiing, had great fun, we had a barbeque, enjoyed the real Sardines. It was just the perfect place to visit and enloy. We had the best d...
Dam visit <(")
Good walk around reservoir ,in overcast weather. Met goatsman on way back to car with his large herd .Plenty of free parking and peace and quiet . .
Barragem do Arade
Easy parking near the dam bridge. Small beach there looked very relaxing, but we intended to do the circular walk around the Barragem, although in retrospect, wasn't the best idea in 30° temperatures....
Lovely views
We have a home 5 minutes away from this barragem and we often go there to cool off when the temperature rises. You do see people in the water or on canoes although we have yet to try either.
