Archaeological Site of Shush

Very good museum, but little to see of the ancient city

The only part of the city which is visible is the deep trench excavated by Grishman which exposed the earliest level of the city. The museum in the castle on the site is very good.

Walking all around these part of city is recommended.nice architecture and views for taking photos also

the Apadana palace of Susa has been compeletely removed by French in 19th and its really pitty that there isnt much to see left but the museum over there is really nice and i recomend the museum

A bit disappointing

My knowledge of the history of this city gave me much to be excited about...but there is little left...and the museum is very small an unexciting. Nevertheless .. you have to go to Zanbil nearby ...so...
