Original Text
Suitable for families, young children, comfortable stay, including 2 meals, hot springs. Teen families will stay in a bungalow. Or stay with a tent activity (car camping), grilling and barbecue is fun. Accommodation and the observatory are only 800 meters apart.
It's a small building, but it has a magnificent telescope. I visited around 7 pm, but at the entrance, I was told that it was cloudy and I couldn't see it today. When I asked, I said that there was an exhibition, so I went in, but the exhibition is like a bonus, so it may be better not to visit when the telescope cannot be used. However, even if the sky was not visible, the uncle of the facility explained the heavenly body to the customer in detail.
It is located on the right side of the Ororon Line on the Sea of North Japan side of Hokkaido. I didn't enter this time, but when I came before, I showed Venus from a large telescope. The person in charge will kindly tell you. I think it will be a learning experience for children.
it's a small observatory in the northernmost part of japan.

To be exact, it seems that there is an observatory with the Science Museum in Wakkanai, but as a single observatory, this seems to be the northernmost observatory in Japan. The entrance fee is 200 yen, and you can see beautiful pictures of celestial bodies and magnificent telescopes, and there are places like a reading corner, so even when you can't see the stars, look at the astronomical books prepared. Look through I also highly recommend spending time in the romance of the universe.

Observatory on the hill
It is an observatory located on a hill separated from the national highway. The observatory has business hours, but the view from nearby is also good.
Observatory in Star City
