... "Akiba Shrine", a shrine worshiping the gods of fire and cover maintaining this area It is a place of worship for local people. and a tourist visit point.
It was built in the Edo period after repeated disasters.
Original Text
Akiba Shrine was built at the foot of a suspension bridge called Deai Bridge in Shirakawa-go. Although it is a small shrine, there was an explanation board in front of the temple. According to it, the temple built in response to repeated fires, great famine, and plague in the Edo period was later changed to Akiba Shrine.
The Deai Bridge is built to connect the gassho-zukuri village of Shirakawa-go and the Seseragi Park parking lot where you park your car to visit the village. There was Akiba Shrine near the foot of the village side of Deai Bridge. It's a small shrine, but when repeated fires and plagues spread during the Edo period, the shrine built to worship the Hifushige god and pray for a peaceful life is said to be the origin of Akiba Shrine. It's the guardian deity of Shirakawa-go.

It is a small shrine near Aibashi because it has a total length of 107 meters connecting a large parking lot and the tourist area of Shirakawa-go. It is a shrine that seems to say that visitors are welcome and those who return are careful. It may be profitable to put money.
A small shrine near Deai Bridge. There is only a village of thatched buildings, enshrining the god of fire. For me, it was a landmark for returning to Deai Bridge.
