OCT National Wetland Park, located on the northwest side of the intersection of Baishi Road and Yuntian Road in Nanshan District, Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province, is an important part of the Shenzhen Bay coastal wetland ecosystem. It is not only a natural secret in the city, but also an important transit station for migratory birds. 🌿Ecological environment: OCT National Wetland Park has nearly 50,000 square meters of mangrove wetlands, with water quality between fresh water and seawater, providing a unique habitat for a variety of aquatic organisms. This is an important transit station for migratory birds, with tens of thousands of migratory birds stopping here every year. The wide water surface, lush reeds, sparse meadows and lush mangroves in the park constitute a natural landscape with rich ecological diversity. Visitors can observe various birds up close and learn about wetland ecosystems.
♨️During the epidemic, you need to make an appointment to enter the park. You can follow the "OCT Wetland" official account to make an appointment for a free visit to the park. The park is closed on Mondays and Wednesdays. ⛲️The park is a natural oxygen bar with a vegetation coverage rate of at least 90%. It is a one-way visit and returns by the original route (you can also take an electric car to return, ⚠️ for a fee). Due to the epidemic, season (August) and weather (heavy rain⛈️), there are almost no tourists in the park, and no various birds are seen inhabiting. I caught a wild animal before leaving the park [snickering]. The last visiting point in the park-the indoor ecological exhibition hall, feels very suitable for bringing children to see and learn more [smile]
Shenzhen OCT has famous tourist attractions such as Splendid China, Window of the World, and Happy Valley. It is composed of three types of wetlands: coastal saltwater lakes, muddy beaches, and mangroves. It is one of the important habitats for birds in Shenzhen Bay.
There is no entrance fee to the wetland park, but reservations must be made in advance. The sunset at dusk is beautiful.
Overseas Chinese Town Wetland Park is located in the Happy Coast of Shenzhen Overseas Chinese Town. It was officially opened on May 15, 2012, which symbolizes the complete presentation of the Happy Coast model of the integration of ecological public welfare and fashion commerce. Walking into the wetland of the present OCT is like being in a natural oasis of the city. Birds are chirping everywhere, their wings are dancing, and the sky and water are shining together.
The National Overseas Chinese Town Wetland Park is a very beautiful natural attraction. It is a good place for camping and taking your kids out.
