Nanhai Yiku

I wanted to find a place not too sunny to hang out on a weekend afternoon, so I came to Shekou Nanhai Yiku, which is close to Sea World. There are few people and it is very quiet. It is very comfortable to hang out under the shade of trees. There are also some boutiques, coffee shops, and Western restaurants. I just found a coffee shop to sit in. There are many cakes with a sense of design in the shop. The coffee is average, but the puffs are delicious.

Nanhai Yiku is a creative cultural gathering place renovated from the factory of Sanyo Co., Ltd. in the early days of reform and opening up. The vertical greening exterior walls, the slightly weathered factory buildings under the shade and greenery, the unique sculptures and windows, and the rich coffee aroma emanating from a corner all bear witness to the quiet transformation of Shekou in the past 30 years of reform and opening up.

Nanhai Yiku is located in Shekou, Nanshan District (near Shuiwan Metro Station), near Gongye 3rd Road. It was transformed by China Merchants Shekou from the original six Sanyang factories. Now the factories in the park have been turned into a dazzling array of galleries, cafes With museums, art institutions, bookstores, etc., the bourgeois and artistic neighborhoods have a lively green atmosphere, adding another romantic scenery to the city. Nanhai Yiku has become one of the most representative cultural and creative industrial parks in Shenzhen and is worth your time.

Actually, this place is near the Sea World. It was not part of the itinerary. I walked along and unexpectedly came to such a creative park. Different graffiti can be seen everywhere, and the landscape decoration design has a strong atmosphere. This is definitely a good place for various street photos. If you want to stroll around, you can finish the walk in an hour. If you want to take photos, half a day is definitely not enough. On a relaxing weekend, bring your camera and come here to take photos.

Nanhai Yiku in Shenzhen was formerly a Sanyo factory and was transformed from 6 main buildings. The entire wall is covered with various green plants. The scenery along the road is pleasant. On the tree-lined path, the literary and fresh feeling is overwhelming. It is an excellent place for travel photography.

Just one street away from Sea World, you will arrive at Nanhai Yiku. Compared with the bustling Sea World and the surrounding shopping malls, this place is much quieter and more artistic. As a creative park, Nanhai Yiku is different from the dilapidated factory buildings of the Value Factory, and is more stylish and fashionable. It is also different from the commercial atmosphere of OCT Creative Park and Upper City of Shenzhen, and is simple and low-key. There are various cafes, clothing studios, western restaurants and brand supermarkets. In addition, the six factory buildings are also offices for some architecture, design, art creation and landscape planning companies. Working in such an artistic atmosphere must be more inspiring!
