Gaoqiao Museum of History and Culture

Sitting at the Yangxiantang on the north bank of Takahashi Port, built in 1931-1933. Gaoqiao Yangxiantang is located in the ancient town of Gaoqiao in Pudong New District, Shanghai. Gaoqiao Ancient Town is one of the 18 ancient towns in Pudong. So there are many old buildings here. Yangxiantang is a century-old Chinese-style old house. Look at the introduction. You can understand the development of Gaoqiao and even Pudong.

The 24 filial piety pictures and texts on the main hall doors are of great ornamental value. Many of the porcelain exhibitions in the exhibition hall also interpret the history of the old street from different perspectives. The most appreciated is the beautiful hydrophilic building.
