Nationality Museum

The Hainan Provincial Museum opened in 2008, is a comprehensive museum in Hainan Province and a national-level museum. As of 2019, the Hainan Provincial Museum has collected 25,287 cultural relics (sets), collecting 1,424 collections and auxiliary exhibits. It was formerly known as the Nationality Museum of Hainan Li and Miao Autonomous Prefecture. After the establishment of Hainan Province, it was renamed Hainan Nationalities Museum. Among them, two special exhibitions are used for exhibition exchanges. After reopening, more than 10 exhibitions have been held since "going out" and "introducing". The exhibition introduces the history of Hainan and the ethnic origin, practice, social life and cultural customs of Li, Miao and Hui ethnic groups through physical objects, texts and pictures. The exhibition integrates knowledge, science, art and fun, so that guests at home and abroad and museum colleagues understand an important window for Hainan's history and excellent traditional culture of ethnic minorities.

The National Museum is a courtyard-style building with ethnic characteristics, simple and spectacular.
