This national monument is really worth visiting. The vistas, the terrain, and the history behind this location are interesting, and worthwhile to learn.
We often skip Visitor Centers. This was definitely worth the time as was the hike through the ruins. I highly recommend doing both. Plan on spending at least an hour, probably closer to two.
The park is located a few miles off Interstate 25. It is a must do stop. Beautiful trail around ancestral site. There are several native ruins. Nice short hike especially late afternoon light. Close...
