based on 1901 reviewsWe drove from Los Angeles to San Diego and stayed at the Marriott Coronado Resort. We mainly visited the zoo, the USS Midway Museum, and Coronado Beach. On our way back, we visited Old Town San Diego, which has a Spanish-Mexican feel. We also had a meal at a large restaurant, a Mexican restaurant, and of course, some tequila. It was a wonderful time and a wonderful trip to San Diego.

This is the largest urban cultural park in the United States and one of the oldest public entertainment facilities in the United States. It has hosted various large-scale exhibitions and fairs. Most of the buildings in the park are in Spanish colonial style, and they also integrate many other architectural styles to varying degrees, such as Byzantine and Baroque. The complex decorations and exquisite details are amazing. Each museum has a rich collection, covering a wide range and depth, which is almost overwhelming and difficult to choose. The botanical garden and the open-air concert hall reflect the high attainments of mankind in architectural art and garden culture. Balboa Park is a famous cultural park in San Diego that combines Baroque and Gothic architecture. There is no ticket for the park. There are attractions such as the San Diego Zoo, the Natural History Museum, the San Diego Museum of Art, etc. in the park, and there is also a small "Park of Nations", which includes the China Pavilion. It is a comprehensive park. There are ancient Spanish buildings, clock towers, gardens, fountains, and lawns in the park, which are especially suitable for hiking and cycling.

San Diego was once a Mexican territory, but the United States later purchased it for a low price. The old town, preserving a small portion of its former Mexican-style architecture, has become what we see today. This time, we visited the Carriage Museum, the Wells Fargo Bank, the courthouse, and the cigar shop—all very Mexican.
