Temple related to Shigeru Mizuki
Original Text
It is Shofukuji Temple where Shigeru Mizuki was often visited when he was young by "Nonnobaa". There is a monument and an explanation on the left toward the main hall.
I visited because there is a memorial statue of Shigeru Mizuki, but in front of the equinoctial week, everyone was busy with the maintenance painting of their own tomb, so I couldn't find the monument. I will come again.
It was introduced that there is a monument to Shigeru Mizuki, so I stopped by. This time I only saw the precincts, but next time I'm thinking of seeing the hell paintings in the main hall.
The temple of the Soto sect of Zazen, the quiet and calm atmosphere, calms the mind. It is a very interesting temple with Shigeru Mizuki monument, Basho Matsuo's monument, and Rokudo-e (hell-e).
There is a paradise hell painting that is said to have been influenced by Shigeru Mizuki. I cried for my dead mother. I got a commemorative flower seed. It was a bad place for transportation, but it was a good walk, 30 minutes walk to Sakaiko Station on the way back.
