It is one of the remains of Sado Kanayama. The remains of the port such as the remains of the cleichin and the masonry revetment remained. There is a sign at the intersection descending from Kanayama, so be careful not to overlook it.
It was a port used to carry out ore and materials during the time when Sado Kanayama was in operation, and stone revetment and truss iron bridges are still left today. It is a little far from the Kitazawa floating mine site and the chicner site, but if you visit it as a set, you will deepen your knowledge.
It is located by the sea just a short drive from Aikawa. It looks like an old coal mine, but it seems to have been a harbor. It was also where I carried gold from Kanayama.
This port is no longer used, but there are some pictures of the former appearance on the wall of a building like a warehouse on the south side of the port, and if you compare it to that, you can see the former appearance and enjoy it even more. Especially when I look at the photos of the tracks of trolleys such as coal, I really want to come to the era.
