The Pantheon is a well-preserved building in ancient Rome, with a history of more than 2,000 years. Artist Raphael, Roman emperor Vittorio Emmanuel II and Wimble I rest here. The Pantheon was built by Agoriba, the son-in-law of the first emperor of the Roman Empire, Octavian, to worship the gods on Mount Olympia. Luo praised it as "Angel's Design". The Pantheon is located in the center of Rome. Its vestibule is Piazza Rotonda. There is a fountain erected with a tall steeple stele. The base of the stele is carved with scenes from ancient Roman mythology. The main building structure is simple and clear. It is a huge cylinder of equal width and height, covered with a semi-circular dome. There are no windows inside, and there are statues of gods all around. There is a large circular hole with a diameter of 8.9 meters on the top, which is the lighting point of the Pantheon. The light leaks from the top and changes the angle of the light with the movement of the position of the sun, giving people a sacred and solemn feeling.

Everyone has to visit the Pantheon in their lifetime. I am in shock that something so magnificent could be built in 126 AD and remain is such remarkable condition. The exterior is incredibly imposing with grand columns holding up the structure. The interior consists of a single perfectly symmetrical circular space with an enormous dome. There are beautiful columns, sculptures, and paintings everywhere. It was originally a Pagan temple and symbol of Rome’s power, but became a church that is in use to this day. There is a huge high alter near the front, built in the early 18th century. All the pagan statues and artwork were removed and replaced with ones honoring to Christianity. Everything in this building is perfectly symmetrical with three sets of columns on each side flanked with artwork in the middle. Every bit of architecture from the floor to the ceiling is so intricate. The marble floor is from three different countries. The red is from Egypt, the white is from Asia Minor.
Very unique experience. Trip online tickets are paid off, providing a very smooth entrance without queuing. The Pantheon itself is an astonishing place.
Rome still exists in monuments. Almost everywhere are ancient buildings and historic sites. Ruins and modern buildings are interdependent, complementary, complementary and mutually reinforcing. Near the buildings of ancient Rome, stalls selling souvenirs were hawking. The windows of hotels could overlook distant palaces. On tour buses, tour guides lost no time in introducing the stories of ancient Rome. On highways, there were endless traffic going to and from work. This was a city that had never been tired, from ancient Rome to the present.
The Pantheon is one of Rome's most iconic buildings, with a stunning dome structure. After entering the hall, the spacious space and exquisite details make people feel the greatness and superbness of ancient architecture. In particular, there is a skylight in the center of the dome, where sunlight shines through the skylight, and the changes in light and shadow complement the majesty of the building itself. It was a Roman temple and later converted into a church, with deep religious and historical significance. Every corner reveals the traces of the years, which makes people feel awe of ancient Roman architecture.
The light in the Pantheon in the morning is very good, and the background is top-notch. I took a lot of photos of my parents, and I like this one the most. I think this place is very suitable for taking wedding photos. Although there are many people, love witnessed by the gods is still very meaningful, and it should be difficult to break up.
【Pantheon】 Also translated as Pantheon, Pantheon Temple, is the only building from the Roman Empire that has been completely preserved to this day. It was built in 27-25 BC by Agrippa, the son-in-law of Octavian, the first emperor of the Roman Empire, to worship the gods of Mount Olympus. It can be said to be a classic building of the Augustus period. The fire in 80 AD destroyed most of the Pantheon, leaving only a rectangular colonnade with 16 12.5-meter-high granite columns, which was used for later reconstruction. The Pantheon is a model of ancient Rome's exquisite architectural technology. It is a huge cylinder with equal width and height, covered with a semicircular roof. Many famous artists such as Raphael are buried here, as well as rulers of the Italian monarchy period. Tickets: Free Time: 8:30-19:15 Address: Piazza della Rotonda, 00186 Roma RM, Italy
