Lindos Acropolis

The ruins are just awesome! You can ride donkeys till the ruins as are on top of the hill, but we walked and was OK.Remember to take water and hat, we went in June , temperature was 28°C.You have an amazing view once on the top. You pay entrance, I think was 12€ per person.when you go down back to the village you can either go on the same path, or just head down the hill, starting near the toilets or the juice bar.You will save some time,we saw the people with donkeys going that way so it was a shortcut.The path is a bit slippery so must be careful.

Linzos Acropolis (AcropolisofLindos) is a coastal town in eastern Rhodes about 60 kilometers away from Rhodes City. It was once one of the three city states that formed Rhodes Island and once served as the capital of Rhodes. Linzos has historically had a strong maritime power. 7th century BC ～ B.C. In the century Linzos reached its golden age, when it was recorded not only having its own colonies but also controlling much of the Mediterranean trade, the alliance of the three city-states of Rhodes in 408 BC weakened Linzos' position as a political and military center, but until the 19th century it was not known. The sea has always been in excellent condition, Linzos Acropolis is located at the top of the rock 116 meters high. As soon as you enter, there is a long step to the square. There is a three-story warship on the left. At the top of the steps ahead, enter the Acropolis through an arched corridor. On the other side, turn left sharply through one. A closed room came to a row of storage rooms on the right. The stairs on the right lead to the Byzantine Agiosloannis which retains 20 corridors. The church is on the right side of the stairs. Lindos is a district of Rhode Island, and there is also acropolis. The scale is much smaller and the Acropolis is much smaller, but the style is as always. The bird's view of the Aegean Sea is beautiful. Because it is an inner bay, the lake is calm, the water is clear and shallow, suitable for people with poor swimming skills.

This is a popular place for tourists except Rhode Island after the Old Town. There are cruise ships coming every day. There is not only a beach, but also a peaceful and beautiful village.

Lindos was my very first experience of holidaying abroad and it was absolutely amazing! We stayed in a gorgeous white washed apartment, which had an open air court yard. The Acropolis is stunning. You can feel the history, oozing from everywhere. If you're looking for white sands and blue seas, Lindos is a haven.

Acropolis of Lindos, historically, was one of the three city states that made up Rhode Island and the capital of Rhode Island. [Tickets] From September to May, Tuesday to Sunday, 8:30am-2:40pm, from June to August, Tuesday to Sunday, 8:30am-6pm. Monday is off. [Transportation] From Rimini Square bus stop on Rhode Island outside the Old World City, take a bus for 40 minutes to Lindos. If you want to see the beautiful seascape on the way by bus, you need to sit on the left hand side. When you get to Lindos Station, you can see the long coastline. It's very beautiful. After the car from Lindos Station, go through Linzos Town and follow the path up the hill.
