A small town that can pretend to be Paris, with only horse-drawn carriages but no cars. Castles are everywhere. It is a dreamy town. Which is the most beautiful town in Canada? Although I have not been to all the towns, I can be sure that it is this one.
The Royal Square is located next to the famous Chateau Frontenac Hotel. The square is surrounded by castle-style buildings, so when you walk into the old town of Quebec City, you will feel as if you have walked into a castle complex.
We came here last weekend (Dec. 10), very beautiful. There is a big Christmas tree in the middle of the square. There's music, children's playgrounds, and lots of lights. I'm sure you'll feel Europe. The buildings here are very tall. There are no slums in this area. There are many good art shops nearby. Most interestingly, the steep staircase at the corner is Les Trois Corbeaux, a glass blowing shop. The magician (staff) is working inside.
Waking up in the castle and looking down at the old city with the curtains open, there was a sense of Bruce Wayne. Looking at the church dome and bell tower downstairs, I suddenly understood why poverty limits our imagination.
Quebec City, the capital of Quebec Province, is really beautiful. I think the most historic part of North America is here. The Royal Square can see many buildings of the French Age here.
