Just a Photo Stop

This status of Charles Darwin is near to the waters in town. Nothing spectacular about thus. Just for a photo stop.

This is not great art!

This is a "ho hum" stop to see a rather poor rendering of the great man. You will bear his name numerous times on your trip, so you mights as well have a good feel for what he may have looked like.

Photo opportunity

Not often you can have a claim to fame! I have had my photo taken with Charles Darwin . Statue used as a meeting place for tourist groups .

More Darwin

This is right next to the water. It's a great place to watch the pelicans and sea lions. Plus crabs and marine iguanas.

Generous size bust

Our host walked us over to see this bust, just outside the Naval Station. The head is detailed and tbelow is a plaque with a younger Darwin etched along with information about him.
