Historically Bala Hisar fort has got tremendous importance as it has been a summer palace for many Rulers of peshawar, Mughul Emperor Babar laid it's foundation. It is one of the interesting forts of Pakistan but unfortunately it is occupied by Pakistan military, so it's not possible to visit this fort without proior permission.
