Guided tour very informative
Tour guide was very knowledgeable. If you enjoy Texas history and/or the Civil War time period this is worth seeing. An hour is sufficient time to see everything.

we go to lots of old houses. hundreds, maybe. this one is OK. the price is reasonable. the docent gives you a pamphlet, turns on a brief video and then you're on your own. nothing wrong with that but...

A great house on a beautiful street
This is very well preserved and furnished and very interesting historical value, and the curators are wonderful and very informative.
