A temple of the Jodo sect on a hill. The precincts I visited the day after the heavy snow were deep snow, and Rokujizo was completely buried in snow. The stairs leading to the main shrine were covered with snow and I couldn't go directly. There are also Afro Jizo and a young Honen statue. There are many cherry trees in the precincts, and I think it is very beautiful.

Located in the entrance boat, here is the main hall of Tenjoji, the 49th historic building designated by Otaru City. The main hall is a wooden one-story building built in 1897. It looks like a Zenkoji Temple in Nagano with a wife of Irimoya. You can see that Otaru is not only in the city center but also in the suburbs.
