National designated important sentence of Japan Sando
Original Text
It is a rare building that can be climbed and descended on a spiral staircase in the main hall of Soto sect Shojuzan Sogenji Temple in Ota City, Gunma Prefecture. It was built more than 200 years ago and is designated as a national important cultural property. The parking lot is free and the admission fee is 300 yen.
It is said that it is 3 Daiei Rado in Japan. Just looking from the outside, the structure of the building is not a spiral structure, but is the internal conductor like that? Unfortunately, I couldn't see the inside because the museum was opened short to prevent infection.
The other day, I went to Seishinin Hyakutai Kannon-do in Honjo City and learned that Ota City also has three major Sazae-do in Japan. Due to the new corona measures, I couldn't see the hall until the end of 5, but I went there because the visit to Hokkaido was resumed from 6 Month 1. However, for the time being, Sundays are closed, and the visit time is shortened to 10:00 ~ 12:00 and 13:00 ~ 15:00. The inside of the Sazae-do, the largest Sogenji Temple in Japan's three major Sazae-do, was spectacular.
After a light hike at the Kanayama Castle Ruins, I came to "Sogenji". This is the 1 of Japan's three major Sazae-do (and 2, the former Shoshuji Sankodo (Fukushima) and Hyakutai Kannon-do (Saitama)). The Mido is a 3 floor, with both frontage and depth 16.3m and height 16.8m, so it has a solid square-like appearance. Enter the hall, pay the admission fee and go around the hall. The hall is a corridor type of spiral structure, and it has a structure that can return to the original place without passing through the same place twice ...
Aizuwakamatsu's Sazaedo is famous and I think Aizu is higher in height, but I think this Sazaedo is larger in the side and depth. There is nothing in the area and the local color is dark, but recently (2018) it has become a national important cultural property. The stepping stones on the approach, which have the same virtue as pilgrimage to the Hyakukannon Sacred Ground, are small but unique.
