Japan's oldest billiard field!
Original Text
Mitsui, Mitsubishi, Sumitomo, and Yasuda are famous for the four major zaibatsu. Sumitomo zaibatsu is especially famous in Kansai, and we make a donation of 々 to Osaka. There was the main bank of the Sumitomo family here. There is also the oldest billiard field in Japan, and although it is now a park, the building remains. It's a one-story building, but it reminds me of those days in a nice building.
From the instruction manual opposite the entrance, after the Copper Fukisho was abolished in the Meiji era, the residence and garden of the Sumitomo family were built in the area. The Billy Yard was built on the east side of this site. I personally thought that it was built as a social place to welcome a large number of foreigners with civilization and enlightenment.
A little bit, go to the billiard field in the former Sumitomo family main residence

I took a walk on the bridge over the Higashiyokobori River, which is the outer moat of Osaka Castle, and came to Sueyoshi Bridge, but I got information that there is a billiard field at the nearby historic site Sumitomo Dobukisho. It is the first billiard field in Japan in the early Meiji era. The entrance is an arch door, which seems to be Western-style, and the side is white walls, and the appearance is reminiscent of a sake brewery. I want you to keep it carefully in the future.
I stopped by when I was taking a walk to a place where I had business. I wouldn't have noticed it without this photo. I thought it was amazing because it was a building only for billiards. The building itself was cute.
An old Japanese-Western eclectic building is well preserved. You can't go inside, but I think it's a very interesting building for those who like modern architecture. You can see the inside from the window, but there was no billiard table. (There was a table and chair)
