The amazing Buddhist temples and grounds are definitely worth a visit. Very cool temple with Buddhist monks praying. It is a large temple in the center of Osaka. Beautiful and quiet. You can visit the surrounding for free but have to purchase a ticket if you want to visit the central building and tower. Other than that, it’s very near from Shitennoji-mae Yuhigaoka station on tanimachi line (exit via 4).

Shitennoji is one of the oldest buildings in Japan. Its layout follows the example of Chinese temples. Gojunotou Five-storied Pagoda is a symbol of Shitennoji. The wooden tower is painted with brilliant red. On the top of stupa has six pieces of sarira. You can have a quiet and leisure moment in the courtyard.
