There's a board on the fence.

    Original Text

There is an information board showing the site of the Osaka Book Museum, which was the pioneer of the Osaka library business. However, since there is only an information board on the fence of the kindergarten, I think it is enough to check with the image without going to the site.

Honestly, it's not worth a visit.

    Original Text

It seems to be the pioneer of the library in Osaka Prefecture, but honestly I'm not interested. There would have been similar facilities in 47 prefectures nationwide.

    Panel only.

    Original Text

It can be said that it was the birthplace of the library business in Osaka, and is it from Minamisenba, Minami Kindergarten, which is a short walk from Shinsaibashi to the opposite side of Namba? There was a panel on the fence of the playground.

    Original Text

A Osaka City honor panel was hung on the fence of the playground across the road from Minami Kindergarten. It was a new one installed in 2016, and unfortunately it blends too much into the surrounding scenery and almost overlooks it. It is said that the "Osaka Bookstore", the pioneer of the Osaka prefectural library business, was built here in Meiji 9. I learned for the first time that the "bookstore" reads "Shojakukan" at this honorary monument.
