It's an old private railway.
Original Text
There was an introduction plate for the site of Naniwa Railway Katamachi Station at Katamachibashi Kitazume. Although it was operating a part of the current Katamachi Line, it will be acquired by Kansai Railway and further changed to a part of the Jnr.
It is a place that I think that it is good at Katamachi station even if it is underground as it is, and it is located on the ground near the exit of 2 of the present Osaka Johokuzume station. Naniwa Railway was acquired by Kansai Railway in about a year, and later it seems to be a private railway until it became the Jnr Katamachi Line. Originally, this was the central point of Kansai-Nara-Nagoya, but the Yamato route, Minatomachi (currently JR Nanba) became the main line of Jnr, and it seems that it has faded a little.
It seems that Katamachi Station was once open, and it was only a honorary panel on the fence. I couldn't find anything left at that time. Katamachi Station itself seems to have been replaced by the nearby Osaka Johokuzume Station due to the underground at the time of the opening of the Tozai Line.

A place only for the honor panel.
