Okinawa Zoo & Museum
#沖繩櫻花
Cherry blossoms at a zoo? Yes! Okinawa Zoo & Museum in Okinawa City is an unexpected but delightful place to enjoy the sakura season. The park features a good number of cherry trees, which bloom in late January, adding a soft pink touch to the animal exhibits and museum areas. I found it refreshing to see the blossoms while exploring the zoo, making it a unique hanami experience. The zoo itself is home to a variety of animals, including elephants, monkeys, and tropical birds, making it a fun destination for families. The museum offers interesting educational exhibits about Okinawa’s natural history, adding to the experience. Unlike traditional cherry blossom parks, this spot offers multiple activities in one place, making it a great option if you want to combine hanami with a fun day out. If you’re traveling with kids or looking for a unique cherry blossom spot, this is worth visiting.
This was an awesome place! Din expect to have such a natural cave in Okinawa!
It is not comparable to many zoos and amusement parks in China. The overall rural flavor is stronger, and some animals are kept in very small cages. But it also wins in the emotional value brought by the rural atmosphere. Many flowers and scenery remind people of the 1990s. In fact, it is also quite beautiful. It may be a good time travel to childhood.
Easy to use and can be redeemed at any time. The park is also very good, especially suitable for children. It is worth recommending to go. The whole park is very clean, and there is also a part of the science museum to visit, and then there is an animal area, built on the mountain.
Okinawa Children's Kingdom is not very far from the village of the United States, but there is no direct past public transport. We used to take taxis. The Children's Kingdom is composed of Museum and zoo. It is built on the hill. The scenery is beautiful. Once we enter, we need to buy tickets to enter. Adult 200 yen, kid 100 yen. Muum has three floors, the contents are interesting, so that children can understand some scientific principles in the process of playing, adults feel very interesting, and some instruments and equipment are very precise. We can't see these contents in China, so it's worth a visit. Out of museum you can enter the zoo built on the mountain. There are many animals, such as giraffes, hippos, elephants, lions, anteaters, crocodiles, turtles, sheep, wild boars, horses and so on. The most impressive ones are bats. The bats here are hairy, fat and have big lovely eyes. They hang upside down on the rope one by one like a bag. We also found that There was another bat outside the cage. At first it thought it was the bat that had escaped. Later, the staff were asked to know that it should be the wild bat outside. Sometimes they would come to look for their companions. Two giraffes are very beautiful and clean, one of them is very naughty and has been playing with his companions. The two big hippos were very big and fat. They stayed in the water all the time because of the hot weather. Out of the zoo area, there is a large lake. There is a wooden bridge on the lake. There are pigeons on the wooden bridge. There are many carps in the lake. You can buy fish for feeding in the vending machine. But you should be careful that pigeons grab fish for feeding. The children's Kingdom has very few tourists. Most of them are local people and autumn friends. It's a great choice. You can also see the scenery at the top of the mountain. I like it very much.
The kingdom of Okinawa children is built on the hills, overlooking the lake and the sea, delicate and orderly. The children's Kingdom has three facilities: Nature Land, Wonder Museum and Children &39; s Center, among which Nature Land is the southernmost zoo in Japan. Entrance tickets are 500 Japanese yen. The park is not big, but the trees are shady, the mountains and rivers are scattered, and the home of small animals is full of natural flavor. Wonder Museum is the kingdom of children's most exciting, entertaining, through the design of clever, easy-to-understand facilities, the boring scientific principles will be vividly displayed interesting, trying to cultivate children's wisdom, sensibility and imagination in play. Those Abstract concepts: buoyancy, suction, sound waves, circulation, etc., became interesting and concrete in Wonder Museum. Although Wonder Museum charges separately, it's very cheap and worth visiting.
In fact, it is a small local zoo, more Japanese style, that is, all kinds of things are very small, the zoo is also small, the amusement park is small, and the ethnic village is also small. It feels a bit like a small zoo that locals often visit on weekends. There is a retired helicopter on the left side of the entrance that you can experience riding, and the children are very excited. However, the third floor of the Magic Museum is more suitable for children to play, and it is the kind that can be played for a long time. Overall, it is not bad, suitable for bringing children to visit for a few hours, and don't miss the Magic Museum. Zoo tickets are 500/100, Magic Museum tickets are 200/100 It may be the off-season now, many projects are not operating, and I give it 3 stars for this cost-effectiveness.
Okinawa children Kingdom children like very much, there are many animals, elephants, crocodiles, snakes, but also close to the feeding of small animals: chickens, sheep, guinea pigs. There are also recreational events in the park. Take a small train. The children had a good time.
First of all, I would like to say that this place is more suitable for children, especially the science and Technology Museum inside. Children can't walk for half a day after they come. The zoo has Asian elephants, giraffes, crocodiles... The children like it very much. Secondly, I want to talk about the location and transportation. I live in Xindu heart of Naba city. I go by bus. The route is No. 21 or No. 90. The bus stop at the gate of DSF is called Children under 6 are free. In Okinawa, Google Maps has a bit of trouble finding buses. There are also several waves of fighter planes flying overhead every day, because there are well-known bases in Japan, such as Jiajunna, Naba, Putiantian and so on.
