Oamaru White Stone Town, South Island, New Zealand Walking into the quiet White Stone Town, it feels like going back to the most prosperous port city of Oamaru in the 19th century. The buildings in the town are all built with solid white stone, which is probably why it got its name! A European style travels back to the prosperous Victorian era. It is a unique town that combines history and humanity!
It happened to be the annual Victoria Festival in Oamaru, and everyone dressed up and made a grand appearance. Fortunately, I bought the ticket for White Rock Town in advance, otherwise I couldn't visit it on site. The scenery in White Rock Town is very real. Although the explanation is in English, they are very hard to take pictures for us. The free experience of changing clothes is very interesting. I recommend it to my friends.
The town's architectural style has been deliberately preserved to look like it did more than a hundred years ago, allowing visitors to return to the gold rush era of the 19th century. The buildings and props look like a film and television base.
Experience the 19th century New Zealand gold rush town Oamaru in White Rock Town. It is a nostalgic movie. It is very interesting and has a sense of the times. I feel that every item here makes us smile. It actually feels like Hengdian + Universal Studios.
It is within walking distance and you will feel like you are traveling back in time, just like returning to Oamaru, the most prosperous port city in the 19th century, or like the early European immigrants who just crossed the Atlantic Ocean by ship.
Baishi Town is quite fun. The whole place is not very big. There are many buildings here. Many locals live here. The history of the town is also quite long. [Value for money] There are many free bars [Scenery] The scenery is beautiful
