It is a temple along Nikko and Kanmangabuchi. The "Line Jizo" lined up side by side is quite powerful. I think there were about 80 bodies. It may be a little scary to pass here at night.
A temple at the entrance of Kanmangabuchi. Only the gate stands out now. When you walk from here and meet Jizo in line, you will be impressed. You can enjoy another sunlight.
Passing through the magnificent gate, there is no building, and there is a building like a storage. Apparently it was destroyed by fire, but there was a scenic river flow on the other side, and it was a pleasant place.
It is a temple built by Kokai Daisojo who opened Kanmangabuchi and enshrined the statue of Amida Nyorai and his master Jigen Daishi. In the elongated precincts along Kanmangabuchi, the "main hall", the "reihikaku", which was rebuilt due to the loss of the great flood at the end of the Meiji era, and dozens of mossed bodies carved by disciples. "Line Jizo" I remember that time. Imagine the appearance of Kokai Daisojo, who made a memorial service for Taihei Tenka from the "Rei Ekaku" of the pavilion and wind that he built himself, toward the statue of Fudo Myoo, while the stone statue of Fudo Myoo on the opposite bank remained in the ruin. ...

It is a temple famous for the sight of many Jizos lined up, called Jizo or Ghost Jizo. I walked from Rinnoji, but the road is difficult to understand and there are quite a few ups and downs. I think it will take 15 to 20 minutes without getting lost. However, the road along the river after arriving at the temple is very clear 々, and the appearance of Jizo quietly lined up is in contrast to the gorgeous shrines and temples of the world heritage site, and I was able to enjoy a different space away from the hustle and bustle.
