Zhongshan Gate

Zhongshan Gate is part of Nanjing Mingcheng Wall. It is a free city gate. It was originally named Chaoyang Gate and later renamed Zhongshan Gate. The city gate can see the scenery of Crescent Lake outside the city. The buildings along Zhongshan Road in the city are a good place to take pictures. Zhongshan Gate is one of the 13 gates of Nanjing Ming City Wall, formerly known as Chaoyang Gate, because it is located in the east of Nanjing City, the first to greet the sun. This section of the city wall can be climbed nearby, stand here, look inside, you can see the Nanjing Museum, look out is the eastern suburbs scenic area, the trees in the eastern suburbs scenic area are still vibrant.
