It is a rock along the national highway connecting the center of Nagasaki to Takahama Beach. When I visited, it was heavy rain, so I only looked from inside the car, but because it was right next to the road, I could take a closer look from inside the car. I could see Gunkanjima faintly in the distance from the rocks.

It is on the way to the coastal street from Iojima to Nomozaki in the southwest of Nagasaki. There is a display called "Meotoiwa" so you can easily see it. You can see Gunkanjima rising from the middle of the red shimenawa.
