This pond has also an amazing view of momiji in orange color. You can see also in here the nice reflection of nature in the water 🤩🤩🤩. There’s near toilet too if ever your by car and want to stop over. We had tour bus and visited this famous pond. This is a pond for agriculture, but become famous for the work paintedby Higashiyama Kaii, a famous Japanese painter. Beautiful.

Kamikochi is one of the most famous parts of this park, and it is a large area that offers hiking opportunities to hikers of all levels. It attracts walkers who are just looking to spend some leisurely time in nature to those who are experienced rock climbers. While some hikes can be completed within one day (like a walk around Tokusawa), many courses require multiple days so it is important to plan your hike well! By car: you should either aim for the Sawando Parking Area (coming from the Matsumoto direction) or for the Hirayu Parking Area (coming from the Takayama direction). Private cars are forbidden to enter Kamikochi itself to protect the environment. From the parking areas it is around 25 minutes by bus or taxi to get to Kamikochi itself. There are bus terminals at both parking areas.

#fallingforfall Gorgeous Red and Yellow colored leaves slowly decent covers valley of Nagano in Japan. Autumn usually starts from month of September all the way to November. Nagano has most highland and mountaneous areas. Imagine you walking around with this crimson colored leaves. Just fell in love with the view as I visit Japan again after the border close after covid pandemic. Why not visit Japan during Autumn and enjoy the beauty of fall. Autumn is one of the beautiful times of the year in Nagano Japan!

Going outside Tokyo around country side drive 2hrs to Nagano whew so nice. Like if you are a nature lover personality, definitely you will just savor the moment in simple street of Japan. 4-5 hour drive from Tokyo, Mount Nekodate and Azumaya is a fantastic place to visit. We went for hiking and the Icecream they sell near the entrance is so tasty. Highly recommend carrying the cane, enough water and a hiking shoes. The top part was covered with the snow and was slippery. When it comes to Japan, it’s always Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka and Hokkaido. It’s time to show some love for Nagano. Approximately 4 hrs by bus, 1.5 hrs by Shinkansen. Best time to go is during winter, late December to early March. If you have time when visiting Tokyo, don't miss this place!!! The place I was most looking forward to on my trip to Japan Nagano is about 1.5 hours from Tokyo by JR (JR Tokyo-Nagano) Ticket: At Nagano JR station, exit towards Zenkoji Temple, platform 7 (P17) or search for Alpico bus ticket office on google maps to buy a bus ticket to Togakushi Shrine (one-way 1350 yen). The return bus station is right across from where you get off, marked by a bus sign; 2023.12.9-2024.3.31 Bus timetable P18 and fare details How to buy a return ticket: 1. Purchase a round-trip ticket in advance at the Nagano ticket office; 2. Board the bus at Togakushi Chusha first, and pay when you get off at your destination (take the ticket from the machine when boarding, and pay the actual fare according to the ticket and arrival station when getting off, see P18). The advantage is flexibility. If you return early, the bus will pass by Zenkoji Temple, which is worth visiting, and there are also museums nearby; The next day, I arrived at the bus station at 8:20 am and there was a long queue of people, probably because of the Chinese New Year holiday + 3 days of Japanese holidays, all tourists; I immediately decided to take a taxi instead! It was a bit of a splurge, 10500 yen to Togakushi Chusha, actually paid 10350 yen, but since it saved travel time (taxi estimated 35 minutes, bus estimated 1 hour), there were no other tourists on the way from Chusha to Okusha There are many places to eat near the Togakushi Chusha drop-off point P11-12 It is more convenient to walk to Okusha in winter, estimated 30 minutes If you take a taxi, you can go directly to the entrance of Okusha (5 minutes drive from Chusha to Okusha); Wearing bright clothes will make for better photos! There is also a soba noodle shop at the entrance of Okusha P13-16 It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the Suijinmon gate, and if you continue upwards to Okusha, it's better to have professional equipment.
