One of the Shikoku 88-temple Pilgrimage

This little temple is nice, but not exceptionally noteworthy. There is a 5-story pagoda which is the main feature, but at the time of our visit, it was completely obscured with scaffolding due to reno...

    Walking distance from Motoyama station

    Original Text

I walked from Motoyama station. There was a little distance, but there was only a temple standing on a flat ground without a slope, so it was a location where you could walk without problems. From the station, I started to enter the precincts from the back, and after visiting the main hall and Daishido, I decided to leave the Niomon gate. In the large precincts, the main hall and five-storied pagoda designated as national treasures were also able to stand and worship slowly. On the day of the visit, construction was under construction in the precincts, and it was difficult to walk because it was a light rain pattern.

It was a temple with many temple towers in the precincts, especially the five-storied pagoda is a superb view!

1220 Shikoku Sacred Ground No. 70 Banfudasho, which is said to have been built by Kukai a year ago. The mountain name is Shihozan, the INGO is Jijihoin, and the principal image is the only "Mato Kannon" in Shikoku Sacred Ground Association, and the temple of the Koyasan Shingon sect. One of the few temples that were not destroyed by Chosokabe, the barbaric bravery of Shikoku. Therefore, a wonderful five-storied pagoda remains. The building of the temple itself is quite exhausted and deteriorated significantly, and the Niomon gate here is a cultural property called "Hachikamon" and is designated as a national important cultural property. In the precincts, there are statues of two horses ...

It was a pilgrimage temple with many things to see, such as statues of two horses and statues of Ryuo, a good woman.

    Original Text

The pilgrimage is also 10 lap (including 1 times, the reverse strike), and if most of the pilgrimage temples are named except for temples with a thin impression, the knowledge has been accumulated to the extent that it is remembered from the state of the precincts to the auspiciousness. No matter how many times I pilgrimage, the impression did not change and it was a "great" temple. It used to be a temple that suffered great damage for Motochika Chosokabe, an outlaw in Shikoku. Not only here, but all of Shikoku were almost destroyed by fire for this only one unreachable person, but this ...
