It is an urban park with public facilities such as the city hall and gymnasium. There are no high-rise buildings in the surrounding area and the sky is wide.
D51 is preserved and exhibited in the park
A large civic park opposite Misawa City Hall. The D51113, manufactured in 1938, is preserved and exhibited. It is said that he continued to run between Aomori Hachinohe and Aomori Odate since 1938 and was active in the transportation of apples and rice. It is said that he finished his role in electrification in March 1972 and was taken to this park. It is deeply moved that the one manufactured 80 years ago has survived the wind and snow and remains.
