Anonymous userAnonymous userDongfengyun is named after Dongfeng Farm. There's a historical exhibition inside that's worth visiting. It would be very beautiful during the flower season, but by early November there aren't many flowers left. Honestly, the 80 yuan entrance fee isn't really worth it.

Mountain climbing
118***44118***44It was beautiful. Although it was drizzling, the scenery was still stunning. The staff at the ticket office were incredibly thoughtful; since I was traveling with someone over 80, they reminded me to cancel my online ticket reservation so the accompanying person could enter for free. They only needed to buy a separate ticket for the sightseeing bus. It was the first time I'd received such a perk; it was very heartwarming.

我是哪大人物我是哪大人物The spa is spacious, with the outdoor hot springs shaded by trees and filled with squirrels. I loved the fish spa pool, where tiny fish kept chasing after food at my feet. The spa is located across the garden, with a large pool on the first floor. There's a lounge on the second floor, and a buffet on the third (for an additional fee).

32007681573200768157Taiping Lake Forest Town is absolutely stunning, like stepping into a fairytale. My favorite spots are "In the Clouds," "Zixia Lake," and Monet's Garden—every photo is a true masterpiece. Taiping Lake was a truly worthwhile trip to Mile! You can rent electric carts within the scenic area, which is incredibly convenient! The restrooms are also incredibly clean, and the brown sugar ginger tea is incredibly thoughtful and warm!

风雨大漠客1969风雨大漠客1969The town's planning and development are quite good. Although the scenery and attractions are limited, the strong sense of local life and art makes it feel unique. It gave me a basic understanding of the Yi ethnic group's Axi branch. I really liked the people here; they were very friendly. The dancers were all very dedicated. The food was delicious, and local specialties weren't overpriced just because it's a tourist area.

lx_2375033lx_2375033When you arrive in Mile, you absolutely must visit Yunnan Red Winery to learn about its origins, see how it's produced and stored, and, of course, taste some fine wine. I was surprised by how large the winery is, and how crowded it is. Entering the cellar, the aroma of oak permeated my nostrils. Each cellar contained a different variety and vintage of red wine. I ended up having a glass of sweet red wine, which was quite good.

M42***48M42***48Mile is really nice. I highly recommend the Taiping Lake Chalet Hotel. The scenery is stunning, the environment is comfortable, and the activities are fantastic. It's especially suitable for family trips. I highly recommend staying there for its convenience. The service is excellent. I also want to thank Liu Shilei. It's amazing to have such a mature place in the heart of Yunnan. The city's Huquan Ecological Park also looks great.

蓝星旅行者蓝星旅行者At seven in the morning, I stood at the foot of Jinping Mountain, gazing up at the 1,999 bluestone steps that coiled like dragons and snakes into the clouds. The plaque inscribed "Maitreya Temple" by Zhao Puchu at the mountain gate loomed through the mist. The scent of sandalwood and morning dew mingled, and birds chirped through the forest, each step ringing like a Buddhist bell. The first 333 steps were relatively easy. Moss-covered remnants of millennia-old terraces flanked me, and clear springs gurgled between the rocks. I scooped a handful of "Buddha Spring" water to cleanse my hands. Legend has it that this water washes away impurities—the cool touch instantly awakened my fatigue. Golden Buddha Reaching the Clouds Climbing to the summit, I suddenly saw the 19.99-meter-tall golden Maitreya Buddha seated on a lotus pedestal! The morning sun pierced the clouds, and the Buddha's body instantly shone with a gilded radiance, as if the entire mountain were ablaze. Cast from tin bronze and covered in 24-karat gold leaf, the Buddha bares his belly in a smile, his left hand twirling a rosary, his right in the Dharma mudra. The base is engraved with an inscription by Nan Huaijin. As I leaned over for a closer look, a flock of white doves suddenly took flight from the Buddha's sleeves, their wings brushing against his fingers like a miracle. Circling the Buddha three times, my fingertips lightly touched the cool Buddha's feet, the solid feel of the bronze conveying the power of a thousand years of vows. Buddha's Hands Fulfill Wishes To the west of the Buddha, the "First Buddha's Hand" quietly stands on the cliff edge. Over three meters tall, this massive bronze palm, with a distinct Dharma wheel pattern on its center, points toward the heavens in the "Abhaya Mudra." I followed a secret technique taught by the locals: closing my eyes, placing my forehead against my thumb, and silently meditating on my thoughts. Suddenly, the mountain wind died, leaving only the clear ringing of bronze bells from the eaves, a Buddhist chant that seemed to penetrate the sea of clouds. Fellow travelers followed suit. A silver-haired woman trembled and knelt with her hands clasped together in worship. The sunlight cast her hunched figure upon the Buddha's hand, as if gently lifted. Overlooking the world Standing on the observation deck, the panoramic view of the Mile Basin is breathtaking: emerald rice paddies form geometric patterns, the Dianxi wetlands wind like a silver ribbon, and in the distance, the red brick castle of the Dongfengyun Winery looms in the mist. As you descend, take a sightseeing bus and gaze back at the receding Golden Buddha—it perpetually smiles, its belly brimming with energy, just like the couplet at the mountain gate: "The green trees and clear springs before the steps are nothing but wisdom; the morning and evening bells and drums from the otherworldly realm are nothing but compassion." ✨ Zen Easter Eggs Vegetarian Zen Flavors: The sour and spicy cold blossom salad at the mountainside "Bodhi Vegetarian Hall" is appetizing, while the steaming mushroom soup, served in ceramic bowls, exudes the fragrance of a pine forest. Buddhist Coins: The base of the Buddha hides a wishing well. A coin tinkles as you drop it in, prompting the monk to jokingly say, "When a coin drops, troubles are cast away." 🚩 Useful Tips Admission: 30 yuan (including Maitreya Temple); sightseeing bus: 20 yuan one-way Time to summit: Approximately 50 minutes on foot. Be careful not to slip on the mossy steps. Best lighting: The Buddha's golden glow is at its peak before 10:00 AM. After 4:00 PM, the slanting light allows for photographs of the "Buddha's hand holding up the sun" spectacle.

带兔牙看山河带兔牙看山河Mile Oriental Charm is an artistic secret hidden in southern Yunnan. The red brick castle is staggered in height, and the spiral tower glows warmly in the sun. Walking in it is like entering a fantasy picture album. Although it is not large, every detail is ingenious and avoids the hustle and bustle of excessive commercialization. The only small regret is that there are a little more people on weekends. It is recommended to go in the morning to enjoy the tranquility of the red bricks and blue sky. It is worth spending most of the day to slowly stroll around and feel this unique artistic atmosphere.
