Great view
Original Text
This is an observatory on the mountain near Mikasa IC. (YAMAZAKI WINERY is nearby) There was a small parking lot at the top of the mountain, and there were tables and chairs. The observatory has a wonderful view of 360 degrees when you climb the 75 spiral staircase. You can see the Ishikari Plain on the west side, Mikasa City on the east side, and there are no people, so I was able to spend a relaxing time.
Due to the corona, I stopped by while driving to avoid crowds. Small 々 It was an old observatory and I felt scared because it was not popular. The mountain doesn't feel that high, but the inside of the observatory is a spiral staircase, and when I climbed it, my visibility opened at once.
On the way from Iwamizawa to Mikasa, it is on a hill rather than the mountain on the left. You can see it from the road. There was also a signboard for information. The view from above is a rural landscape with fields spreading, but it was nice to see it far away.
From Iwamizawa, turn left in front of Mikasa city and there is an entrance on the road leading to Bibai. It's a narrow road, so it's hard to pass each other, but when I went slowly, there was an observatory park. There is also an observatory in a strange shape, which makes it hard to climb. From the top, you can overlook the Sorachi Plain and feel refreshed. It's such a remote place, but there were five other groups of visitors.
Is it venerable since the Meiji era? Observatory. Since it was a place where coal was produced, Takeaki Enomoto and Taisuke Itagaki also visited. You can overlook the Ishikari Plain. Did you think about any policy here? It's near the Mikasa interchange, but the road has to be turned around.
