Great concert hall and in the middle of Merano. The sounds of Passirio are calming and aid recovery.

Shopping hub

Whilst not strictly pedestrianised you see very litte trafic in this long narrow street full of boutiques, bars and restaurants.

Pretty street to wander along

We stayed at the station end of this street, so it was a lovely stroll into the central area along the street. There are lots of lovely old buildings to see, shops to look at, and earring places close...

Nice stroll through Merano

By far less hectic than the parallel Via Portici. No traffic except bicycles. A few bars and restaurants left and right!

Lovely street with its overhanging verandas to protect against rainy days as you shop or find a cafe to sit at.
