It is a landscape extending to the sea. The tourism in the bay is also relatively rich, with a variety of ecology and vegetation. At the highest point, you can see the distant ocean view. This place is also very suitable for visiting.
The hike from the town of Cassis to the Calanques takes about 2 hours each way. The path is stone and slippery and steep in parts, so wear appropriate footwear - at least trainers and socks. We hiked in Birkenstocks and regretted it. Others hiked in flip flops - never do this. This means it is still possible to hike in Birkenstocks. As is typical for southern France beaches, the beach is rocky but the water is clear. There are no facilities in the Calanques, so bring everything you think you will need.
Hiking here is highly recommended, because this fjord is not the kind with particularly dangerous cliffs. On the contrary, the scenery is very beautiful. There is also a very interesting hiking trail that should not be missed.
Karangge Fjord National Park is the most beautiful bay around Marseilles. You can take a boat tour of the whole fjord in the old port of Marseilles. It is said that if you snorkel here at night, you can see the dream of fluorescent spots in the water. It's also a great place for hiking, but it's hard to climb in some places, so we still need to bring all the equipment.
This is a natural group of rocky fjords, which is quite unique and beautiful, stretching for more than 20 kilometers. I think the best way to visit it is to take a boat tour, which can be arranged in a day.
