All around the bay
Viewable from our villa, we’d questioned what these were but had decided salt pans although how the salt gets dried before the next tide arrives. Tried the local sea salt though - good stuff

The saltpans are extense and very nice. Unfortunately, they get under the shade quite early, in Winter time, so try to go earlier in the morning, to get nice pictures.
If you time your visit right you can catch the folks that work the salt pans at work. Fascinating just leaning on the rails watching them hard at work. Even when no one is there the view is fantastic.
