Mannar Island

Mannar is a northern city in Sri Lanka's northern province, adjacent to Jaffna, across the sea from India, about 20 nautical miles away, and there is a Chinese cannery on Mannar Island's Nakajima. Most of the people here are Tamils who migrated from India in the early years, who are hospitable and in a state of recuperation after 20 years of war (the Tigers), but the Sinhalese people in the south still look down on the Sinhalese because of the civil war. There are many Tamil temples here, with Hinduism, Christianity, Catholicism and so on. I attach some pictures of Tamil temples. Everyone have time to come and see and experience the South Asian style.
