The northbound views are incredible - summer or winter! The mountains beyond Maple Ridge and Coquitlam are magnificent. Traffic is much heavier now that the tools have been off for a couple of years.
While I can see where this might be of interest to engineers, I'm not sure how it rates as a tourist attraction. It is NOT the great arching span of the Lions' Gate Bridge, or the ornate architecture ...
Nothing special on this one. Decent views, but nothing to go out of your way for. It does have a dedicated lane for walking, but it's narrow to share with bikers.
It's just a bridge
Not too big not too small ,it's just the right size . Yes it's just a bridge. Gets you over the water just fine.
Tolls are off!

It's a functional bridge - no more, no less.

PITT RIVER BRIDGE.
An nice bridge that quickly got us across the Pitt River. Also has nice views of the valley, tri cities and the mountains.
