What travelers say:

This is one of the oldest temples in Bagan. It follows the original Monday style and features a central sanctuary with only one entrance and for the Buddha to sit in. It has lots of great drawings. The temple is actually quite dark and you need a good flashlight to appreciate the artwork. The artwork is colorful. You need to spend some time here. Pay attention to the gilded Liver and Cobra cover. Built by King Kyanzitta, this temple is a high tribute to the cobra. The king had to take refuge in the temple site during the hatred caused by his brother in the 1080s. Outside, the temple is interesting. Pay attention to the details of the windows and doors. The distribution of windows and the roof. Really cute. The temple is part of the Myankaba group. There are 5 temples nearby. Just visit all of them together.
