Peaceful and clean site
Stayed here whilst visiting the annual Ludlow food festival. Experience made even better due the fantastic weather. Quiet site, yes there's an obvious slope but this was no problem. We could have pai...
A tranquil walk along the river.
A walk to view the town, castle and local wildlife. Shared our walk with locals and dog walkers ending up a cafe near the castle entrance for coffee. Superb.

Best place to take in the castle as you are above it and the town, great place for the kids and free parking.

Visited on May Day bank holiday weekend. Ludlow was REALLY busy, but up here on the common, it was still peaceful. Free parking on the road (lay-by) and we managed to get a space even on this busy wee...
